This is a good place to learn and take the basics to another level. Develop your skill in color, composition, and paint application, and enhance the artist’s ability to understand color, light, and form by working from direct observation using still-life setups or photographs. Some of the important skills and understanding required for a successful painting will be addressed during this class, including values, edges, paint quality, and composition. In addition, students will learn the importance of simplifying color masses to create harmony and perceiving beautiful color variation producing effects of realism and subtlety.

The Adult Acrylic Painting course is designed for anyone with a desire to learn how to paint landscapes in acrylics using a simple approach.
You will learn simple techniques for painting each of the elements that are important to painting good landscape paintings. This course is designed for beginners who have never picked up a brush before, through to intermediate-level artists who are looking to try out acrylics and learn new approaches to the various elements found within a landscape.
In addition to being incredibly easy to use, acrylics yield some of the most vibrant and versatile results.
